Barry started the Practice in 1986 and moved to the current premises in 1990. Married in 1985, to the long suffering Marian, they have 5 children over a period of 13 years, having both lived in the local area all their lives.
He is the oldest member of the team, (although Helen is quite close despite her protestations to the contrary!) and commenced as a sole practitioner from his house, with no team members back in 1986.
In addition to accountancy Marian and Barry own Orlando based Property Development and Management companies and a Spanish Property Sales Company. This gives Barry an insight into the other side, of actually running family businesses.
Barry enjoys all sports, mostly watching, as his physique displays, and spends most of his leisure time with the family. |

Barry joined the firm in September 07 and is responsible for financial planning, which he says is a lot more interesting than accountancy. He is the younger, most talented and better looking of the Barry’s!
Barry is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Financial Planner and also a Certified Financial Planner, one of only a handful of advisers in the UK to hold all three qualifications.
He is also currently studying to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Barry is married with one daughter. In his spare time he enjoys golf (better player than Barry Thompson) and socialising. |

Joined the firm in October 1993. Married to Robin, a keen rugby referee, with 4 stepchildren. In the winter months Judith appears to get dragged (well so she says) along to rugby matches but seems to like the après side of the sport rather than the game itself. As soon as the rugby season is over Judith and her family clear off to Donegal were she can be seen surfing the Atlantic waves, swimming, fishing, going for long walks and again socialising with the locals. |

Married to the very quiet Nigel with two daughters Judith and Sarah. Interests include working with the thriving 1st Northern Ireland Girls Brigade were she is the Captain. Merlene especially enjoys spending weekends in the Mourne Mountains with the girls from the Brigade helping them achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Award. |
